"Chucks" are the only shoes that have ever existed. Since 1923, Chuck Taylor All-Stars have been "just a piece of rubber and canvas" - they have not changed a bit from the sands of time. These shoes (schuhe) are devilishly simple and individually in all respects. Anyone can wear Chuck's in these days, but you can still make your own. There are so many options on what color you want? One of the core colors black and white? Solid black? White? Red? Green? Blue? Pink? How to print on the latest model or? Every year Converse also pumps new seasonal colors and different styles such as double-spring-shoes, "troublemakers", faded looking ones, everything. You can buy different color laces or you can go crazy with a Sharpie and draw up some art all over the shoes. And for something seemingly so weak, they are very durable. My shoes have withstood countless running and hitting the asphalt, games, hand out the football, basketball, jumping from everywhere, the basic abuse a teenager at his feet. Granted, they did not do too well at first, but when you get your feet accustomed to it well, do not even notice that you no longer wear. Still, there were some setbacks, but if you look for modern shoes, you can see the differences in design. But for just over 3 / 4 of a century ago have, you admit, they are damned impressive. The skinny: PROS customizable in any way-laces can be easily replaced and in a pattern that you want done Look great with everything and everyone, the unisex casual sneaker that you also take the occasional compliment from coworkers or friends will. -light, most shoes today, compared -so-many colors from the core colors (black, red, green, blue, white or pink) to different designs (60s tie-dye, camo, skulls, flames, etc.) -are different kinds of shoes from the classics to the newer double uppers, tear-aways (shoes with two layers of canvas, and some parts have already been demolished, the brighter lower-show), duplicitous, and even different materials like leather or suede. CONS the color-faded, bleached, especially in my dark blue Taylor's been SO hard to make the color very faded blue denim. -the rubber parts of the shoe is dirty rather quickly, but have to be cleaned easily. -Overall the shoe is very comfortable, but not for a long run or recommend a whole day on the promenade. Much depends on the shape of the foot when the feet are flat, you will notice that these shoes are a match made in heaven. Otherwise, might have some problems, but not so bad, they are intolerable. -SKATE SHOE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Converse shoes are made of linen, which do not have any mercy from runaway boards, and they do not have adequate cushioning on the top, bottom or sides for such an activity. NOTE: BUY a half size smaller than YOU ARE THE TARGET FOR. That is, a Converse size 10 is actually a 10 1 / 2. I do not think that Chucks come in half sizes to compensate, so easy to use. Another hint: If it bothers you, then you should know. Chucks are no longer manufactured in the USA. You are now outsourced to other countries, mostly China. They will not lead finding or holes on the bottom of the shoes or anything, but Converse is now a subsidiary of Nike. In 2004, went into receivership and was Converse, Nike, bought a company known to use sweatshop labor to make their shoes. |
